On July 10 from 7:00–8:00 PM, PLEAS hosted a free bowling event with 22 kids attending, from kindergarteners to high school students. We reserved four bowling lanes and a large table in the corner, giving our group a space to bowl, socialize, and enjoy the evening together.
PLEAS board members helped set up the games, provided basic bowling demonstrations, and supported participants throughout the event.
Younger kids were able to use bumper lanes to help improve their scores and build confidence while having fun. Everyone enjoyed friendly competition, cheered each other on, and had a great time knocking down pins.
Congratulations to all of our prize winners! Our first-place lane winners were Brian Xiao, Andy Qian, Elizabeth Wu, and Wendy Yu, while our second-place lane winners were Wilson Shan, Mianni Yang, Emily Wang, and Aaron Ge.
Each winner received a prize valued between $10 and $25. It was wonderful to see everyone come together for a fun evening of bowling. Thank you to everyone who joined us, and we can’t wait to bowl with everyone again at our next PLEAS Bowling Night on August 4!
William and Wilson had a fantastic time at Helen’s bowling event. They really enjoyed the evening and had the chance to meet lots of new friends.
